1. Create your account (register)
On the login page tap Register.
Fill in your business name, your name, phone number, and email — or sign up with Google.
After registering you land on your dashboard. Your business gets its own address like /your-business/dashboard.
Next time, just sign in with the same email/password from the login page.
2. Join an existing team (join code)
If you work at an existing business, don't create a new one — join theirs.
Ask the owner for their join code (they find it on the Team & Access page).
On the login page tap Join a team, sign in, and enter the code.
Once an owner approves you with a role, you're let in automatically.
3. Understand the structure
In Ginti, stock is organised in three levels:
📁 Category → 📦 Product → 🏷️ Variant (SKU)
Example: Footwear (category) → Nike Air Max (product) → White, Size 10 (the variant you actually count & sell).
Every distinct physical item you keep a count of is a variant (SKU).
4. Add a product
Go to Inventory and tap + Product.
Give a clean, short product name (e.g. "Amul Gold Milk") and pick a category.
If the item has options (color/size) tick Has variants; otherwise enter unit, stock and price right there.
5. How to make a SKU ID (important)
A SKU is a short unique code that identifies an item. There are two kinds:
📦 Base SKU (product) — code for the whole product family. UPPERCASE, no spaces, join with hyphens. NIK-AIRMAX
🏷️ Variant SKU — the actual sellable item. Base SKU + color/size. NIK-AIRMAX-WHT-10
Good patterns (pick what fits your business):
👕 Apparel: [BRAND]-[PROD]-[COLOR]-[SIZE] → NIK-TSHIRT-RED-XL
🛒 Grocery: [CAT]-[BRAND]-[QTY] → DAI-AMUL-500ML
🔌 Electronics: [CAT]-[BRAND]-[MODEL] → PHN-APL-IPH15-256
Tip: start every variant SKU with its base SKU — it keeps reports & search accurate. Avoid mixing '0' (zero) and 'O' (letter).
6. Add variants & key details
Use + Variant for each option and fill:
• Unit — kg, g, L, ml, pcs, box, dozen…
• Cost Price (what you pay) & Selling Price (what you charge).
• Current Stock (how much on hand) & Min Stock (alert when below this).
• Attributes like Size, Color.
You can also edit price and min-stock directly by clicking them in the Inventory table.
7. Record stock In / Out
Stock isn't edited directly in the table — it always changes through transactions, so you keep a full audit trail.
Use the round + button (bottom-right) for quick Stock In (goods received) or Stock Out (sold/dispatched).
8. Add many items at once (bulk import)
Have old sheets or invoices? Open Import — download the template or use the built-in AI prompt to convert your file, then upload it.
Columns: product_name, base_sku, category_name, variant_sku, unit_measure, current_stock, min_stock, stock_in_price, stock_out_price.
Tips
• Start with a few products by hand to learn the flow, then bulk-import the rest.
• Set Min Stock on every item — the dashboard warns you the moment it runs low.
• Tap the 🛟 Help button (bottom-left) anytime to search FAQs or message our team.
